Resources and Tips - Tips for Better Days 

Finding the Calm in the Chaos

Meditation not your thing, try a stillpoint. Also could be called a breather, intermission, lull, brief interlude,
or a quietude. 

Stopping and doing nothing is something quite profound. It's creating a small moment a few times a day for you.

Simply stop whatever you are doing, whether you are sitting or standing,
keep your eyes open or closed and take a few deep breaths. Focus your attention inward and notice your breathing, no need to try and control it just observe it. 

Bring into your mind a belief or thought that is motivating and keeps
you grounded. It can be a message that you tell yourself, "I am okay", or "I
feel calm". 

You are giving yourself a brief moment to regroup mentally with the message and physically with the deep breath.
