Where I go, what I do

This photo was taken in 2008 in an amazing place called Isla Mujeres in Mexico. I can never get enough of the waves, the sound, the feel, the power.

I love every experience that traveling brings. It reminds me that there are many differences in the world. With people, food, attitudes, culture, housing, and much more. If I embrace the differences and remind myself that my way is not the right or only way I have opened my eyes and my heart to everyone in this world.

Bees

I keep bees, or they keep me. The president of my current beekeeping club said that beekeeping is somewhere between taking care of a hamster and raising a child, I would agree. I think I started out wanting the honey and ended up learning alot about patience, letting go, improvising in a pinch, and what a bee sting in an odd place feels like! They are a science, and they are an art. Thank you always to my Mentor Dawn.

Honey Moon in Peru, 2000.

~Top of the Andes on our way to Macchu Picchu. The altitude is a bit of a challenge at this height, lots of very vivid crazy dreams. The Andes literally took your breath away!

~Contemplating the Peruvian way of life that was lived here on the grounds of Machu Picchu. The terracing and stone work is definately a history for the Peruvian's to be proud of.

~The light of the full moon on the Winter Solstice comes directly in through this window. The level to which astrology and seasons where honored is built into many of their structures.

~All in for the picture!
