This photo was taken in 2008 in an amazing place called Isla Mujeres in Mexico. I can never get enough of the waves, the sound, the feel, the power.
I love every experience that traveling brings. It reminds me that there are many differences in the world. With people, food, attitudes, culture, housing, and much more. If I embrace the differences and remind myself that my way is not the right or only way I have opened my eyes and my heart to everyone in this world.
I keep bees, or they keep me. The president of my current beekeeping club said that beekeeping is somewhere between taking care of a hamster and raising a child, I would agree. I think I started out wanting the honey and ended up learning alot about patience, letting go, improvising in a pinch, and what a bee sting in an odd place feels like! They are a science, and they are an art. Thank you always to my Mentor Dawn.
